Does d2007 still use midas.dll?

I upgraded a dbexpress app from D7 to D2007... and have it up and
running... then noticed the only midas.dll on the machine is from back in
D7... so curious if D2007 TClientdatasets still use midas.dll? or has the
dll really not changed in that long? or is it just incredibly lucky that it
worked.

Thanks

Thanks... is the DLL backward compatible? I have a D7 ISAPI app on a
production server and am upgrading it to D2007... so I have a test version
of the app running on the same box... they are both running fine but the
midas.dll is from D7... thinking i should probably upgrade it to the
latest version but dont want to break my D7 app before I move over. yes i
should be doing this on a test server... but gotta deal with the cards im
dealt. lol.

Thanks again.

Yes, MIDAS.DLL is backward compatible. I agree that you should upgrade
to the latest MIDAS.dll

or you insert the unit MidasLib in your uses-area and then you don't need
to depoly the midas.dll or use an older version of the dll ...
