BDS2006 with Firebird 2.1 and dbExpress

I use BDS 2006 (all updates) with dbExpress and Firebird. I have just
upgraded from Firebird 2.0 to 2.1 and find that my connection to the
databases no longer work. I use the Unified Interbase dbExpress driver.

Can anybody tell me whether there is a new UIB driver for Firebird 2.1 and
where to get it. Alternatively, can somebody suggest another dbExpress
driver that I can use for Firebird 2.1

I have had EXCELLENT luck with the driver from upscene.com. I use FB 2.0,
but I cannot say enough good things about the product and support I've been
getting. I'm not sure how well they work with 2.1, but they have a bulletin
board / newsgroup, and you can ask there:
upscene.public.products.interxpress.firebird

I'm not affiliated in any way, but have been very impressed with the
company, so I'm just chiming in with my 2 cents.

The UIB DBExpress driver works for me with Firebird 2.1 (From D7)
You should get and install in Delphi the svn version of the UIB components and
then compile the DBExpress driver.

I have previously compiled this for BDS2006 and Firebird 2.0 but something
seems to have changed and I get errors now when compiling with the same
BDS2006 installation but for Firebird 2.1.

Do you know where the latest UIB downloads are? The ones I have are UIB21
from Prodigy.com

Check the last version from SVN (with a SVN Client like Tortoise SVN) :
