Hello,

Which is better in Speed (insert, update, delete, select, packing / reindex)
between DBX4 and third party components like MyDAC ( www.crlab.com/mdac ) or
MySQLDAC ( www.microolap.com ) ?

Did anyone ever make some test for benchmarking ?

Thanks in advance

If you do batch inserts with a parameterized query, then DBX4 is very
bad, because with D2007 they changed the behaviour, that the Prepared
property is set to false after every execute.

I'm changing to UniDAC now. There were some minor issues, but I think,
it's a good product for a version 1.0, because it's based on all the
experince CoreLab has with their different other products.

Before UniDAC, I used CoreLab DBX drivers for Oracle and MySQL and
they worked always with no problems.
