I'm the programmer of my Company and we use for the production optimization
a program write by me that use as database Interbase and the language is
Delphi. The component I use for database connectivity was made IBX (now
Interbase Express ver. 11.1, recompiled with Delphi 2007). We don't want
change database because we have payed for 20 user license.
My Database grow 50 MB at year and now is ca 200 MB.
Now my doubt are:
1 - IBX will still be supported for the next year?
2 - DBX is more fast then IBX?
Thanks.
