First, thanks in advance for any help or pointers provided!

For the last 15 years or so I have been offering an application based on
Paradox/BDE. With the purchase of Delphi 2007, Professional edition, I
decided it was time for a complete redesign and have been doing that for
some 7 months or so as I can find the time. I'm now at the point where I
need to figure out how the DBExpress database is accessed by multiple users
and how to deploy for that.

And it is at this point where I seem to need a good book! Or, at least, I
need some idea of what is involved. I'm finding myself at sea in the midst
of acronyms I only vaguely understand. I'm generally a quick study, but
whew, this is a steep learning curve!

I did design the application with two data modules, one "server" and one
"client" as I discovered that to be highly recommended in a book I have read
by Eric Harmon... although alas the source code site for his book seems to
have disappeared.

Essentially, I need some help moving my BDE understanding into a DBExpress
world. Again, many thanks for any potential help!

Please don't multi-post. It wastes everyone's time. Please see my reply
in the Blackfish SQL newsgroup.
